First Impact Factor for ESurf

We are delighted to announce that Earth Surface Dynamics (ESurf) has received its first Impact Factor of 2.0 from Thomson Reuters.

We would like to congratulate all of our authors, reviewers, associate editors, and Copernicus Publications for this accomplishment and to thank them all for their hard work in making ESurf a success in the three years since its launch.

ESurf’s excellent first Impact Factor – awarded less than three years since our first paper was published – is an important indicator of the scientific impact ESurf papers are making in Earth surface research. We look forward to publishing more high-impact, exciting, innovative open-access research in the coming years!
